After the success of our last collaboration, BC and I were keen to keep the momentum going. ‘Hooked On You’ represents a more hopeful sound that I feel reflects where our heads have been at during the past few months – Nic Fanciulli

Having worked on a number of previous releases international DJ and producer Nic Fanciulli and rising star Black Circle once again collaborate on the brand-new laid-back summer groove ‘Hooked On You’ is out now via the iconic FFRR label.

The pair bring together dreamy balearic pop with floating synths and keys, fluid bass guitar lines and a built-in sunshine feeling, turning towards the vocals of UK four-piece Miya Miya who sit perfectly alongside the beats. ‘Hooked On You’ provides a departure from Nic and Black Circles signature techno and tech house sound, but delivers a laid-back vibe showcasing both artists depth of production techniques.

This is not the first time that Saved label boss Nic Fanciulli and the hotly tipped rising star Black Circle have collaborated. Having previously worked together on singles ‘Leap Of Faith’ and ‘The Breakfast Club’ Black Circle has also seen previous solo success with Beatport no.1 track ‘Journey’. With releases between them on respected labels; RCA, Anjunadeep, Crosstown Rebels, Rekids, Circus Recordings and Play It Say It, alongside crucial support from Green Velvet, Solardo, Fisher, Pete Tong, Annie Mac and CamelPhat, this is no doubt a formidable duo.

For this collaborative effort, they turn towards the highly promising and fast emerging British pop band Miya Miya, consisting of Gini, Jordan, James and Gio. Who have previously had writing credits with pop royalty Jonas Blue, have had a track featured on the Love Island playlist alongside recently dropping their debut E.P. ‘Cold Blood’.

The sum total of this collaboration is a beautiful summer heater, fitting in perfectly on a sunshine terrace dancefloor and will no doubt be supported on national airwaves and across your favorite streaming playlists for this season and beyond.
