Preparing to unfold one of their best pieces of work yet, GusGus is now pleased to share the album\u2019s seductive opening track, \u201cStay The Ride\u201d. The single is out now across all streaming platforms via their\u00a0Oroom<\/strong>\u00a0imprint.<\/p>\n

Delivering another deliciously unique taste of what\u00a0Mobile Home<\/em>\u00a0has in store, \u201cStay The Ride\u201d slows down the tempo and intimately invites the listener to embark on an explorative journey through a world wherein machines have taken over. Distractive screens. Artificial Intelligence has ruled supreme. A world wherein science fiction is no longer fiction, but rather fits snuggly within the scope of reality. Opening with R\u00e1n\u2019s signature monochromatic vocals, \u201cStay The Ride\u201d cascades into a minimalist synth-kissed anthem that sets the stage for the 9-track endeavor anxiously waiting ahead. The track widens GusGus\u2019s ever-expanding encyclopedia of beautifully layered soundscapes with mesmerizing melodies and bold, unashamed synth hooks. Alongside the single, the band has once again paired up with GusGus founding members and creative directors\u00a0Siggi Kinksi\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0St\u00e9fan \u00c1rni\u00a0<\/strong>– alias\u00a0Arni & Kinski<\/a>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/strong>to produce the music video counterpart for the single. The music video for ‘Stay The Ride’ follows the success of the video release for the album’s lead single, ‘Higher’<\/a>, which has amassed nearly\u00a0500,000 views<\/strong>\u00a0since its late 2020 debut.\u00a0This is only the beginning of the creative partnership, with many more stunning visuals to be released ahead of the full album release.<\/p>\n
