Franky Wah\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Cristoph\u00a0<\/strong>release\u00a0Darkest Hour<\/em><\/strong>. A new collaborative single from two of the leading names in melodic house and techno,\u00a0Darkest Hour\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>is out now via Franky Wah\u2019s label,\u00a0SH\u00c8N Recordings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Continuing with their ongoing theme of collaboration, which has already seen Franky Wah and Cristoph release the 2021 dance floor hit\u00a0The World You See,<\/em>\u00a0along with sharing the DJ booth for highly praised back-to-back sets, today\u2019s release features two new tracks which have been played out by both artists to great acclaim.<\/p>\n

The title track,\u00a0Darkest Hour,<\/em>\u00a0also features Diana Miro, the vocalist whose emotional harmonies and instantly enchanting lyrics have seen her become one of dance music\u2019s most intriguing new talents. Diana\u2019s own collaborations include working with the likes of Tom Staar, Avira and Cosmic Gate, along with Eelke Kleijn, who she also performed live with for global live streaming platform Cercle.<\/p>\n

Darkest Hour<\/em>\u00a0signals Franky Wah\u2019s first new music of 2023 which follows the release of last year\u2019s\u00a0This Is SH\u00c8N<\/em>\u00a0–\u00a0A new mixtape of 27 previously unreleased tracks which featured collaborations with vocalists Robinson, Luisant and Lunar June, along with dance music visionary Sasha.<\/p>\n

Both prolific in the underground circuit as well as crossing over to the commercial side of dance music, Franky was tipped as a \u2018Future Star\u2019<\/em>\u00a0by BBC Radio 1\u2019s Pete Tong in 2020 and has continued to move from strength to strength ever since. With continuous support from the likes of Annie Mac, Danny Howard and Mistajam, Franky has also become a regular name at some of the world\u2019s most esteemed festivals and venues including Creamfields, Glastonbury, Fabric and The Warehouse Project, with his own headline tours across North America, South America and Australia establishing a momentous and adoring global fanbase.<\/p>\n

In the studio, Franky Wah\u2019s glistening discography<\/a> has seen him release on labels including Tale Of Us\u2019 Afterlife Recordings, Anjunadeep and Ministry Of Sound, along with heading up\u00a0SH\u00c8N Recordings and Terracotta Records \u2013 two labels where he continues to build a catalogue of his own productions as well as providing platforms for his peers and emerging new talent.<\/p>\n

Marking his meteoric rise, Franky\u2019s output of singles, EP\u2019s and mixtapes have regularly peaked at the top of the Beatport and Radio 1 Dance charts respectively. Regularly gaining support from some of the industry\u2019s leading artists such as Sasha, John Digweed, Solomun, Adriatique and Carl Cox.<\/p>\n

Hailing from the North East city of Newcastle,\u00a0Cristoph\u00a0has distinguished himself as a mainstay amongst the house and techno circuit.\u00a0It was evident from the start that Cristoph was destined for success,\u00a0picking up early support from the likes of Eric Prdyz, John Digweed, Hot Since 82 and Camelphat.<\/p>\n
