After the recent announcement of his forthcoming\u00a0\u2018Reincarnation Tour\u2019<\/strong>, international DJ and producer\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u00a0returns from his 2018 hiatus. Delivering the first single since his break,\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u00a0has unveiled\u2018Letting People Go\u2019<\/strong>, a new sonic direction for the young producer and his most personal release to date, sharing his previously story as a first-generation immigrant.<\/p>\n

A fresh new sound featuring vocals from Maryland based indie pop trio\u00a0Prinze George<\/strong>,\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u00a0has adopted a more melodic approach on\u00a0\u2018Letting People Go\u2019<\/strong>, a departure from his signature trap-heavy style.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Heavyweight Records<\/strong>\u00a0founder (real name\u00a0Diamant\u00e9 Anthony Blackmon<\/strong>) recently penned a powerful op-ed on\u00a0Billboard<\/strong>\u00a0citing how the deaths of friends and collaborators\u00a0Mac Miller<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Avicii\u00a0<\/strong>deeply impacted him.\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u00a0has returned with a new attitude towards his music and the platform it has given him as an artist.<\/p>\n

Moving forward I want to connect with my fans in a way I never have before. I used to be scared and embarrassed to tell my story. Now I am proud of it and I want you to know it. My mother left Nicaragua, traveled through Mexico, and crossed the Rio Grande into America as an illegal immigrant to create a better life for me. I came to this country speaking little to no English. In this crazy world we all live in now I am embracing this – I am a proud immigrant.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now serving as an ambassador for the\u00a0RAICES<\/strong>\u00a0Foundation<\/strong>, a nonprofit agency that provides free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees based in Texas,\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u00a0will donate $1 to the charity for every user that saves the track on\u00a0Spotify<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Apple Music<\/strong>\u00a0and work hand-in-hand with the foundation moving forward.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram to express his gratitude following the hiatus,\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u00a0stated:<\/p>\n

I\u2019m ready to make my next step into changing music forever…this is my favorite record I have ever made…and I hope you guys enjoy it…and to everyone that has helped me get to this point I wanna thank you for taking risks….I dedicate #LPG to my grandmother… just like a lot of mothers dealing with the atrocities at the border she also had her children took from her which included my own mother when crossing the border into McAllen, TX. Going on to thank a number of his fellow producers, including\u00a0Ti\u00ebsto<\/strong>,\u00a0Erick Morillo<\/strong>,\u00a0Borgore<\/strong>, and\u00a0Migos<\/strong>\u00a0in the emotional post,\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u2019s 2019 revival sees a fresh approach to his work with a brand new and re-energized vigor.<\/p>\n

A self-made artist,\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u00a0has made a monumental impact on both hip hop and dance music with huge records such as\u00a0\u2018I Like Tuh\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0feat.\u00a0ILoveMakonnen<\/strong>, which amassed over\u00a0100 million Spotify\u00a0<\/strong>streams. Having collaborated alongside heavyweight talents including\u00a0Migos<\/strong>,\u00a0Lil Pump<\/strong>,\u00a0Steve Aoki<\/strong>,A$AP Rocky<\/strong>,\u00a0Lil<\/strong>\u00a0Uzi Vert<\/strong>,\u00a0KSHMR<\/strong>, and many more, few artists artists are able to move between genres as seamlessly as\u00a0Carnage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joining the billing for\u00a0Insomniac\u2019s\u00a0Beyond Wonderland<\/strong>\u00a0festival in March,\u00a0Carnage<\/strong>\u00a0will also take part in the\u00a0Miami Music Week<\/strong>\u00a0madness, before heading to Europe for a run of shows across spring\/summer.<\/p>\n
