Ellie Goulding’s ‘Goodness Gracious’ gets treatment from The Chainsmokers

A new year can supposably not get off to a better start for any upcoming electronic music artist when you’re getting remix requests from two of the current hottest names in pop. That’s what happened to Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. Known throughout the electronic dance music industry as The Chainsmokers, the duo recently promulgate that they got in charge of remixing songs from British pop stars Ellie Goulding and Bastille.


As their latest Soundcloud upload reveals, the New Yorkers knuckled down to Goulding’s track first and are now standing on the threshold to enrich the world with their take on ‘Goodness Gracious’. Leaving the songstresses stunning voice untreated, the duo inject a robust progressive build and an unusual delicate synth-drop into the cheerful pop track. Due out on March 23rd, this remix might be the production that has so far been lacking up to gain name recognition outside the electronic dance music community,
